1、Working principle of WiFi module

WiFi module, also known as serial port WiFi module, belongs to the transport layer of the Internet of Things. Its function is to convert the serial port or TTL level into an embedded module in line with the WiFi wireless network communication standard, with builtin wireless network protocol IEEE802.11b.g.n protocol stack and TCP/IP protocol stack. Traditional hardware devices embedded in WiFi modules can directly use WiFi to connect to the Internet, which is an important part of the realization of wireless smart home, M2M and other Internet of Things applications.

The WiFi module specifies the channel number for fast networking. In the usual wireless networking process, all current channels are automatically scanned first to search for the destination AP created (or Adhoc) network ready to connect. The serial wifi module provides the parameters to set the working channel. Under the condition that the channel of the destination network is known, the working channel of the module can be specified directly, so as to speed up the network.
